Istanbul

The founder, Agop Tomurcuk, was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1941. He sepoiu the footsteps of the brothers and began working as an apprentice in Turkey's only 9-year-old dish factory. When this factory went bankrupt in 1977, Agop opened a small factory that started producing for local stores.

Since then the business has been expanding to respond to demand. It should be noted that in 1998, the Alchemy series was created to expand the offer beyond the traditional Jazz dishes and best suit a diversified range of more modern and larger music. In 2004, Istanbul Agop opened the company's first office outside Istanbul, in Los Angeles, California, USA, to improve relationships with artists and drummers, and further expand the diversity of its production.
