Description
The Mollenhauer 1042 Student recorder is a baroque soprano flute for committed musicians, manufactured in German quality.

The Mollenhauer 1042 Student recorder consists of the bezel, the part through which it blows, removable for more effective cleaning. The body is made of pear wood and has eight holes, arranged in the Baroque typing system and is tuned in Lá (442Hz), with a range from D2 to D4.

The last two holes are double, as is common in most modern baroque recorders, so that musicians can rise half a step or access a smaller third more easily, a technique that was previously possible by partially covering the corresponding hole. It is a way to develop typing in a more practical way for those who are still learning.

The Mollenhauer 1042 Student produces a warm sound, characteristic of pear wood. It responds with good dynamics to the different types of intensity that we want to give it, being an ideal instrument for those who are still finding their voice and developing the technique.

It is an instrument that both supports the study and encourages the individual development of each musician, with the typical and beautiful sound of this instrument, which remains balanced in any register, and a stable response from the highest to the lowest notes.

The recorder is very popular for the musical initiation of school children and in music therapy, as it is easy to learn, but it is also very interesting to accompany other instruments. It is also a challenge for more advanced musicians who want to use this simple instrument to create melodies in their sweet and very recognizable timbre.

Also known as recorder, the recorder is a wind instrument, which was very popular in the Middle Ages, particularly in Central Europe. The composer who dedicated the most pieces to him was Vivaldi, who composed many concerts for recorder, both for the contralto version and for the soprano. In addition to the natural notes of the scale, we can give the sharps, covering only half the hole corresponding to the note.

Mollenhauer has the motto “Fun & Flute” (fun and flute), but above all it is the rigor that characterizes this almost bicentennial German brand. The manufacture of wind instruments has been in this family since the 19th century, which were distinguished from an early age for the quality of their construction. The flutes manufactured by Mollenhauer are the result of the effort of generations in search of innovation and development in the manufacture of wind instruments.

The careful design and the latest manufacturing techniques of the Mollenhauer 1042 Student make it a very modern instrument, perfect for any musician at any level, in an ideal balance between quality and price
