The APC 307LS OP fado guitar is made in Portugal to play the portuguese national song. Top in solid spruce, mahogany bottom and sides. Model of Lisbon.
To play the fado requires an instrument made by someone who knows, in order to make the cobblestones cry. The APC 307LS OP is entirely manufactured in Portugal by one of the most prestigious brands of traditional Portuguese acoustic instruments in our country.
As we can see by the volute - or head - in the shape of a snail, the APC 307LS OP is a fado guitar model from Lisbon. The Portuguese guitar of Lisbon is the one that has the most brilliant sound, reinforced by the traditional tuning of the Fado Lisboeta in B A E B A D, from the highest.
The APC 307LS OP box uses two woods: solid spruce for the top, and mahogany for the bottom and sides, molded with all the mastery of the APC artisans. The fan in which the six pairs of strings are placed in metal allows the guitar to be finely tuned when playing the fado.
The aesthetic side has not been forgotten, with an open pore finish throughout the body of the guitar, and a special attention to the detail of the snail in the head, the pickguard that is placed on the top. All done with the attention and care of experienced APC luthiers.
APC was born in 1976 by the hand of António Pinto Carvalho, to specialize in the construction of chordophones. It was at the age of 10 that his founder began to learn the art of building guitars and cavaquinhos by his grandfather's hand. Nowadays it is the largest national company in the industry, with about 50 employees, who give authenticity and a personal touch to each instrument, manufactured with the most advanced construction technology, for greater precision and rigor. Modernity and tradition are the key of this company that proudly promotes the Portuguese cultural tradition.
The Portuguese guitar APC 307LS OP is an affordable instrument for everyone to play the music of all of us, Portuguese.
