The aesthetic side hasn't been overlooked, with an open-pore finish across the entire body of the guitar. Everything done with the attention, care and experience of APC, from the pickguard on the top to placing the frets on the neck.
The sound is traditional, full and very harmonious, which evokes nostalgia but also joy, with an arm that allows quick interpretations for the more energetic melodies and runs.
The Portuguese guitar from Lisbon is the smallest of the three traditional fado guitars (there is also the Portuguese guitar from Porto and the Portuguese guitar from Coimbra). Of the three, it has the brightest sound, reinforced by the traditional tuning of the Lisbon Fado in B-A-E-B-A-D, starting from the highest pitches.
APC is the largest national company in the field, with about 50 employees, who give authenticity and a personal touch to each instrument, manufactured with the most advanced construction technology, for greater precision and accuracy. Founded in 1976 by the hand of António Pinto Carvalho, APC proudly promotes the Portuguese cultural tradition through its quality traditional string instruments.
The APC 305LS is a Portuguese guitar that opens the door to Lisbon's fado, to anyone who wants to enter this world so rich in our tradition.
