Manufactured to Fender's high standards, the CC-60SCE features a solid mahogany top, supported by scalloped crossbars arranged in an X shape for added strength and acoustic response, whether playing rhythm, strumming or picking. The laminated mahogany back and sides provide a balanced sound with great volume and excellent mids.

The neck is in mahogany, with rounded edges for greater comfort in the execution and the fingerboard, with 20 frets of vintage dimension, is in kingwood. It has a double acting truss rod. The easel is also in rosewood.
