The Goldon 33124 2-tone block is an instrument for rhythmic music initiation. It is made of beech wood and produces two different sounds depending on where it is beaten.
This company was founded in Markneukirchen in 1936, Germany. Under the brand name "Goldon", it only produced high quality recorders. In the late 1940s, the catalog was expanded to include musical toys: harmonicas, zithers, children's clarinets, castanets, children's guitars, metallophones, etc.
An extensive and colorful range was created, aimed at the musical education of children.
Since then, Goldon has continued to develop and many instrument developments for music education have appeared.
The workshops in Markneukirchen have a long tradition of making musical instruments. They are in the heart of the region called "Musikwinkel" and internationally its production of quality instruments is recognized.
