Description

The Gretsch G9500 Jim Dandy 2 is the guitar for beginners or for experienced musicians looking for a classic sound at an  incredible  price, in a vintage style.

It is difficult to find a guitar with so many qualities at such an affordable price. The Gretsch G9500 Jim Dandy 2 is a small, comfortable parlor-sized guitar with great sound.

The low action and the 24-inch 18-fretted rosewood fingerboard make it very easy to play, whether you are just starting to learn or who want to play with quick chord transitions in the style of the popular music of the years 30, 40 and 50, a time that serves as inspiration for this instrument.

The body is in agathis and the arm is in natural, with a C profile for greater comfort, two very resistant and durable woods. The Gretsch G9500 Jim Dandy is full of details that give it a high level of reliability in a classic looking instrument. The open gear chimes keep the tuning and vintage style, complemented by the 1950 Gretsch® 3x3 head design.

The bridgel is made of rosewood and the pickguard features a discreet G representative of the American brand, on a classic sunburst finish.

The sound is very present and of great quality for a guitar of such small dimensions and at this price. The parlor models have a sound that is characterized by a greater predominance of mids and trebles but the Gretsch G9500 Jim Dandy 2 produces the necessary bass to maintain a balanced and very pleasant dynamic.

The Gretsch G9500 Jim Dandy has impeccable build quality, with a lot of attention to detail, from its solidity that is revealed in the safe and present sound to the finishes, as can be seen in the cutting of frets and inlaid on the scales.

It is an easy-to-use instrument for anyone who is just starting to learn to play the guitar, and its dimensions make it ideal for children. But make no mistake, however small, the Gretsch G9500 Jim Dandy is a real guitar that responds to more elaborate performances in elaborate fingerings and complex chord progressions, with a superior definition.

Gretsch guitars have such competent quality control that they can practically start playing as soon as they are out of the box, without making adjustments.

The classic sound, the quality of construction and the affordable price make Jim Dandy a guitar to have in any collection, to always be around to compose or go with you anywhere, always with style. Embrace your classic side with Jim Dandy, and have endless hours of fun playing the guitar.
