Description

The Roland AC-33 is the first portable battery powered amplifier designed specifically for  electroacoustic guitars.

The Roland AC-33 is a very powerful portable amplifier that will give your music another dimension, wherever you are. Perfect for musicians who like to be on the go and have autonomy.

The stereo sound from its two 15 watt speakers is rich and pure, true to the characteristics of acoustic instruments, and with a projection larger than its size may suggest.

Roland's DSP technology not only enhances sound quality, but also lets you apply effects that add another dimension, such as a wide-band chorus with "Wide" mode, reverb, and 3D ambient effects created especially for acoustic guitars. .

You can even record and activate loops for up to 40 seconds so you can play over a rhythm or harmony, and build songs or improvisations without further accompaniment, with unlimited overdubs.

But the Roland AC-33 is not just for guitar. Connect a microphone to the Mic / Line channel and sing, with independent volume control, equalization and chorus. Or, plug in an mp3 player for richer accompaniment. The controls are simple, very straightforward and clearly marked on a top panel for easy access and visibility.

Since semi-acoustic guitars are easily feedbackable when amplified, the Roland AC-33 has a function that reduces the risk of overfeeding for performances free of unwanted sounds.

The power of the Roland AC-33 is that it can be powered by an AC adapter (included) or eight AA batteries which, if alkaline, can last up to eight hours.

The Roland AC-33 is made for street musicians or others who like to perform at any occasion, with great fidelity, sound quality and extra features for creative and versatile performances.

The Roland AC-33 also has a stand to raise the projection angle of the sound.

Roland is one of the leading brands in the music industry, with nearly 50 years of history in the manufacture of amplifiers, effects pedals, rhythm boxes, electronic drums and synthesizers.

Specifications:

This amp was made to go places no amp has gone before. Thanks to its battery-power capability, the AC-33 lets you take your act anywhere: into the backwoods, onto the streets, or wherever your imagination leads you.

  • Natural, Stereo Sound
Equipped with Roland’s latest DSP technology, the AC-33, delivers pure, rich acoustic sound with projection far beyond its size. Its true stereo design (15 watts x 2) enables brilliant stereo/multi-band chorus with “Wide” mode, plus shimmering reverb and 3D-type ambience effects tailored specifically for acoustic guitar.

  • Phrase Looper
The AC-33’s onboard Phrase Looper lets you record, loop, and jam over your own guitar riffs or incoming audio from the AUX input. Record and loop up to 40 seconds at a time, and amaze your listeners with sound-on-sound performances that you create on the spot.

  • Strum and Sing
The AC-33 provides two discrete channels: Guitar and Mic/Line. Plug in an acoustic guitar and a microphone (or line-level instrument) and mix them separately. Both channels have dedicated controls for volume, multi-band EQ, and chorus. The Mic/line channel offers both XLR and 1/4" inputs. You can also connect an MP3/CD player to the stereo AUX input for play-along practice or performance. Master volume, reverb, ambience, and anti-feedback are provided as well.
